Commis Chef
Commis Chef is the beginner in the kitchen and does a lot of the menial task ,vegetable preparation etc , helping out the Chef de Partie and learning all the ins and outs of cleanliness and preparation of dishes getting ready to move up to the next role of Chef de Partie.
Depending on the size of the brigade in the kitchen there is likely to be several Commis Chefs at least 1 for each section .
