Sous Chef Required ! Chester

We require a Sous Chef to assist with the running of this lovely hotel in Chester .

You will be leading a good team on the Head Chefs absence and will be expected to maintain standards at this luxury hotel .

We are looking for a chef with a fine dining background who wants to work for this amazing hotel group that has some of the finest establishments in the UK

Sous Chef Main Duties:- Run daily operations of the kitchen- Have a good command of the menu and the ingredients required- Support the senior members of the kitchen team- Deliver orders in an efficient time- Maintain strict health and safety, and food hygiene standards- Mise en place and stock control of your section

Sous Chef Skills:- Previous experience as a Chef de Partie ,Junior Sous.- Knowledge of a variety of local and international food ingredients and correct methods of preparation- Excellent communication skills- Excellent team working skills- Superb attention to detail and driven by delivering standards- Demonstrate a flair new and exciting concepts to contribute to menu planning and seasonal changes
A passion for food- Resilience and drive to get things right first time

Sous Chef Benefits:Accommodation if required !
Hours Required:45 hours per week on a flexible rota, where some weekends will be require You will be in charge of a section and must be able to work your way around the kitchen covering all departments from larder to Pastry .
