Development Chef Birmingham ! Temp 3 months !

Head Chef required to put in place all processes required .
We are about to start the build work on our new catering outlet which will have a focus on street food from around the world. We are looking for someone to lead the new development by covering the following:
- Menu development: create a solid bank of recipes
- Costing and nutrition calculation (using Catercalc)
- Menu testing
- Competitor analysis
- Systems and kitchen setup
- Support in the recruitment and training of staff of a variety of abilities
- This contract is for 3 months minimum straight shifts
- The role would have large elements of freedom, and would report directly to myself in the first instance, but we would want them to really own the project. We are looking for someone who has setup up similar operations in the past. A non-essential but desirable element would be experience of street food. There would be no initial weekend/evening work and the option to work agreed flexible hours.
No accommodation £12.50 per hour
